A SignUpGenius alternative that stays on one event

RSVPs and volunteer slots without a second signup sheet fighting your guest list.

When MyTownRSVP fits better

• One shareable link — coming / not coming plus optional volunteer shifts
• No guest accounts — helpers claim a role without another login
• Door roster included — check-in lands on the same event
• Uncluttered page — no ads, no marketplace chrome
• Local-first — church hospitality, PTA, race-day helpers, neighborhood crews

What we’re not trying to replace

SignUpGenius covers many spreadsheet-style signup use cases (potlucks, snack lists, multi-sheet drives). MyTownRSVP focuses on events: who’s attending, who’s covering a timed shift, and who walked in. If you need a general-purpose signup matrix with dozens of unrelated columns, a spreadsheet tool may still fit. If your pain is “Sunday 9am greeter + RSVP headcount,” use one event here.

Honest comparison

• Best for: gatherings that need attendance + a few timed volunteer roles
• Skip if: you need complex multi-sheet signup campaigns unrelated to a single event date
